Just now catching up and reviewing all the ‘reviews’ on the website. I still have six bios to translate with Shannon’s help. She was so good to come to the meeting out on Westheimer but was not able to show all the attendees the video on what we do to get as many bios as possible. It was to show you that you have control of what you want to convey and how we both make sure you are pleased to share your life like you want it to be. Basically:
    1. You write the story and send a picture of you and/or your family
    2. I transcribe it (well, I will try to catch up)
    3. Shannon and I proof read and send it back to you for additional information and/or deletions.
Only then is it sent for inclusions in the website.
We want you too be happy with your story and we take extra precautions that this is accomplished. It has been most interesting how, when the subject’s life comes into view, that they have forgotten many things that they add to their ‘story’ and are willing to share with all of us.
We were looking forward to many associations to be formed for things like travel, sports, genealogy and where many have lived-even close by and may at this time, We have lost too many of ‘the tribe’ and we hope you can understand how this can be so simple, streamlined and efficient. Who knows, we might have a close relative in our group that we never knew about.
Shannon has been a real jewel and a blessing to keep this going in honor of her father, Larry Keith.

I was so sad to hear of Janet’s passing while we were in Florida. What a beautiful and faithful leader of our class she was for so many years. I just spent a few sentimental minutes going through pictures on this site I haven’t visited in so long. She was radiant in all the pictures. Technology is wonderful…but keeping up with passwords and site changes at our age is a pain to keep track of. If this reaches ANYONE out there still checking this site, bless you and your family. Glad to receive notice in time for me to attend Janet’s funeral. So sad to lose such a sweet kind Lady. Funeral was large attendance for middle of summer hot day. Saw several of our classmates, always good to be around that group of people. Thanks again to Janet for all the hard work and time planning our Reunions. May you rest in peace. Gene Watters Uzzle
