An Open House celebrating the life of David Waters will be held Sunday November 14, 2010 from 10am -7pm. Location will be the back yard of David and Dixie’s home. Our gathering will feature music, refreshments, and visits with David’s family, friends, neighbors, students and colleagues. Performances of any creative kind are encouraged. There will be an informal program beginning at 1:30pm. Those wishing to perform and/or speak may contact us in advance, or just come on over and do your thing. If we get enough manpower, we can hoist David’s piano out to the outdoor stage for those who might wish to use it. A PA will be available. Dixie requests RSVP by Friday 11/12/10, as BBQ will be provided. Folks may bring appetizers, side dishes, beverages, and desserts to share. Coolers/ice would also be helpful. The volleyball/badminton net will be set up. Dixie is preparing a media show to be projected during the gathering – if you have pictures or videos you’d like to share, please send them to her. We look forward to seeing you soon.
